The largest PE test in Flanders. "And much more fun than at school." That is Runner's High and wants to get no less than 5,000 pupils moving on Thursday 24 October. The grand event is an initiative of the sports education of Thomas More and will take place for the third time in the centre of Turnhout. "It's incredible how we keep growing," says Yves Hellemans, lecturer in Sports and Cultural Management at Thomas More University College. "Participants even come from Limburg this time. We have therefore increased the number of registrations by 1,000. Although quality remains paramount. We literally want to be a class example." After the successful first editions of Runner's High, Thomas More is inviting no fewer than 5,000 students from the third year of secondary education on Thursday to go in search of their Runner's High. In this way, the university college wants to put even more future students on the sporting path. Festival proof Runner's High is a concept of the students of the Thomas More University College. Under the supervision of the teaching team & external experts, the content is 100% determined by them. On the course of the city run in Turnhout they provide encouragement from the water and even from the trees. For the warm-up at the big stage they provide DJs who get the blood pumping even faster.
